SkinCandy Naturals did not start with a business plan. It started with candles.

Back in 2014, I set up a table at local flea markets under the name WishMeLuck Candles. It was simple. Show up, sell, pack up, and do it again next weekend. But candles are seasonal. They rise and fall with the weather, and I needed something steadier. When I decided to test the online market, I almost tripled what I was making in person. That told me everything. I was not just selling candles anymore. I was building a brand that people wanted to follow wherever it went.

Somewhere along the way, the conversation started shifting. Customers who came for candles kept asking about something else: body care. What did I use on my skin? What worked for dry patches? What smelled that good and felt that good too? I listened, and I followed the audience. That is how SkinCandy Naturals was born. Not from a spreadsheet, but from people telling me what they actually wanted.

I am originally from Kentucky, moved to Alabama at 12, and spent 7 years serving in the U.S. Army. That kind of life teaches you discipline, and it teaches you that nothing gets handed to you. You show up, you do the work, and you figure it out. That same mindset is the backbone of this business. I learned early that once you open your doors to the public, they will come, and you had better be ready. In this industry, you show up and you show out, every single time. No exceptions.

The name SkinCandy is exactly what it sounds like: addictive. Just like candy, once people try it, they crave it. That is the standard every product has to meet. Not nice. Addictive.

Our products are made with thoughtfully selected natural butters and oils and are paraben free. The sugar scrubs and body butters are made for all skin types, including skin dealing with eczema and psoriasis. They will not heal those conditions, but they can help keep that skin naturally moisturized, which is exactly what it needs. This is not a women only brand. SkinCandy Naturals is unisex and made for anyone who needs a glow up or a little more moisture in their life.

My goal has never been small. I want SkinCandy Naturals sitting on the shelf beside any major brand in the store as an equal. Not the new brand trying to catch up. The competitor.

That is the story so far. The candles started it, the customers redirected it, and everything I learned about showing up has been built into every jar and every scrub since.
